How Gift Cards Work

 

1. Purchase a Gift Card

Gift cards can be purchased directly through our website in any amount.
Once purchased, you’ll receive a digital confirmation and a downloadable gift card file to send or print for the recipient.

2. The Recipient Chooses Their Dates

All stays at Wanderlust Domes are booked through Airbnb.
Your recipient can browse dates and availability anytime on our booking page.

3. They Contact Us Before Booking

Because Airbnb does not allow hosts to apply outside discounts or codes directly, gift cards cannot be redeemed at checkout on Airbnb.

Instead, the recipient simply needs to contact us before booking.

​

They can reach out through Airbnb messenger and include the following information:

• Gift card holder’s name

• Gift card amount

• Preferred stay dates

4. We Apply the Gift Card Value Manually

Once we confirm their dates:

• We apply the gift card amount as a direct discount on the booking.

• We adjust the Airbnb price on our end for those specific dates.

• The guest can then complete the booking on Airbnb at the reduced rate.

Important Information

Where bookings take place

All stays are booked through Airbnb. Gift cards must be redeemed before the guest makes their Airbnb reservation so we can adjust the pricing manually.

 

Gift card value

Gift cards can be purchased in any amount. If the card does not cover the full cost of a stay, the remaining balance will be due through Airbnb at the time of booking.

 

Expiry

Gift cards have a one year expiration from the date of purchase.

 

Non-refundable

All gift card purchases are final and non-refundable.
However, gift cards can be transferred to another person if needed.

How to Redeem a Gift Card (Step-by-Step)

1. Choose your dates on Airbnb

2. Do not book yet

3. Contact us through Airbnb messenger with:

   • Your gift card details

   • Dates you wish to stay

4. We confirm availability

5. We manually adjust the Airbnb rate to reflect your gift card amount

6. You complete the booking on Airbnb at the discounted price
